Pork chops, Meatloaf, Baked Chicken, Alligator, and phenomenal desserts that you probably cant eat in one sitting. Every one was so friendly. We wouldnt leave, just sat down ate there. Way underpriced for their fab food! Thanks to their wonderful staff, we had the best time. I think the picture shows that. Dont miss this place in Akron Ohio! Id give it 10 stars if I could! ”

“ Out of this world the best soul food I have ever had! A bunch of us from in and out of town needed some real fried chicken and fried okra, and Mickey Claudes did not disappoint. The portions are more than enough to satisfy any hunger. My husband and I shared the alligator. I did not share my cornbread, so they gave my husband an extra cornbread then for dessert we had the peach cobbler. I have never, in my life, had better peach cobbler. The perfect amount of spice, batter and peach blend that will melt you away. The staff also showed off the other dessert options of carrot cake, Hawaiian cheesecake, Oreo cheesecake, and apple caramel cheesecake. The slices are huge! So beautiful and definitely made with love. They dont have a dining area, but were very generous to let us hang out and eat in their foyer anyway to enjoy the meal. It was one of the best experiences of food and good people to be with. Thank you Mickey and Claudes! We cant wait to return! ”
